Popular Nigerian evangelist Ayodeji David, popularly known as Kekere Jesu, and his assistant, Iyanu Joseph, tragically lost their lives in a ghastly motor accident.
The fatal crash, which also claimed the lives of over 24 other individuals along Sagamu Road, has left the Christian community and many Nigerians in mourning.
Eyewitnesses report that the accident involved multiple vehicles and was caused by a combination of overspeeding and poor visibility on the highway.
Kekere Jesu, known for his passionate street evangelism, powerful messages, and strong social media presence, was said to be traveling for a ministry assignment when the incident happened. He and his assistant, Iyanu Joseph, died on the spot, along with 22 other victims whose identities have yet to be confirmed.
Videos and tributes have begun pouring in on social media, with many describing the evangelist as a humble servant of God who dedicated his life to spreading the gospel, particularly among the youth and in rural communities.
