<p><b>Job Summary</b></p>
<ul>
<li>As a Chemical Analyst, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and safety of our spice products by performing chemical analyses on raw materials, intermediates, and finished goods.</li>
<li>You will work alongside a dedicated team to support our commitment to delivering high-quality and sustainable products to our customers.</li>
</ul>
<p><b>Responsibilities</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Perform chemical analyses on raw materials, intermediates, and finished products to ensure they comply with quality and safety standards.</li>
<li>Analyze test results, interpret findings, and promptly report any non-conformities or deviations from quality standards.</li>
<li>Maintain a clean, organized, and well-equipped chemical laboratory to meet regulatory and internal quality standards.</li>
<li>Collaborate with the Quality Control team to develop and implement quality control procedures and assist in identifying opportunities for process improvement.</li>
<li>Prepare and maintain detailed records of test results, standard operating procedures, and laboratory documentation to meet regulatory requirements.</li>
<li>Stay updated on relevant regulations and standards in the spice industry, ensuring that the company’s products comply with all applicable laws and guidelines.</li>
<li>Work with the Research and Development team to evaluate and implement new chemical testing methods and technologies that enhance spice product quality and safety.</li>
<li>Effectively communicate findings, concerns, and recommendations to cross-functional teams, including Quality Control, Production, and Research and Development, to drive corrective actions and improvements in spice product quality.</li>
<li>Collect samples from various stages of production and storage, following established sampling procedures to maintain traceability.</li>
<li>Operate and maintain analytical instruments and equipment used in chemical testing, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of results.</li>
</ul>
<p><b>Qualifications</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry or a related field</li>
<li>Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.</li>
<li>Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) principles is a plus.</li>
<li>Minimum of 2 years of experience as a chemical analyst in an FMCG or a related industry.</li>
<li>Proficiency in operating and maintaining analytical instruments and equipment.</li>
<li>Strong understanding of chemical analysis techniques and quality control practices.</li>
<li>Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.</li>
<li>Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.</li>
<li>Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.</li>
</ul>
<p><b>Remuneration</b><br />
 N150,000 – N200,000 Monthly.</p>
