Manchester United marked Ruud van Nistelrooy’s last game as interim manager with a 3-0 win over Leicester City at Old Trafford.

Bruno Fernandes continued his scoring streak, netting the opener with a precise strike from outside the box to celebrate his 250th appearance for United.

Fernandes was also involved in United’s second goal, as his shot was deflected by Leicester’s Victor Kristiansen into the net just before halftime.

In the second half, substitute Alejandro Garnacho added a stunning third goal, curling a long-range effort into the top corner with Fernandes once again providing the assist.
