Manchester United’s struggles continued as a late penalty from Jarrod Bowen gave West Ham a 2-1 win, following a dramatic VAR decision.

However, the game took a dramatic turn in the dying minutes when VAR flagged a challenge by Matthijs De Ligt on Danny Ings.

Referee David Coote awarded the penalty after reviewing the footage, sparking controversy among United players who argued the call was harsh.

Bowen then calmly converted, securing all three points for West Ham.

United boss Erik ten Hag now face mounting pressure with increasing questions about his future with the team.
