<p><b>Job description</b>: Do you have experience in electrical installation and repairs? Are you looking for a new challenge? If so, we have the perfect role for you!</p>
<p> As an Electrician, you will be responsible for installing and repairing electrical equipment and systems. You will need to have a good knowledge of electrical wiring and circuitry, as well as of health and safety regulations. Other duties include: </p>
<ul>
<li>Carrying out a range of electrical tests in accordance with safety requirements</li>
<li>Installing, testing and verifying new and existing equipment and installations, carrying out repairs where necessary</li>
<li>Carrying out rewiring and kitchen and bathroom improvement programmes</li>
<li>Storing and transporting all equipment and plant safely and maintaining it in good working order</li>
<li>Taking part in the Electrical Out-Of-Hours (Salary is £37,000 plus OOH payments, which combined averages between £39,000 &#8211; £40,000)</li>

<p> <b>Essential qualifications and experience</b> </p>
<ul>
<li>18th Edition City and Guilds 2382</li>
<li>Certificate in requirements for Electrical Installations (BS7671)</li>
<li>Level 3 in Electrical Installations</li>
<li>Experience with domestic repair, installation, maintenance and testing.</li>
</ul>
<p> Desirable qualification </p>
<ul>
<li>City and Guilds 2391 (Inspection, Testing and Certification) or NVQ equivalent, with post qualification experience.</li>
</ul>
<p> We will put successful candidates through this training where suitable and necessary.</p>
<p> What we’re looking for… </p>
<ul>
<li>Experience of working in occupied and unoccupied domestic properties.</li>
<li>Skilled in installing new electrical installations and undertaking upgrade projects.</li>
<li>Experience of undertaking electrical works to domestic properties</li>
<li>Ability to legibly and accurately fill out daily administrative paperwork, electronic based inspection certificates and use tablet computers as part of remote working processes.</li>
<li>Ability to work inside and outside, from ladders, on roofs and in confined spaces where necessary.</li>
<li>Ability to plan and organise work and materials.</li>
</ul>
<p> A full driving licence is essential for this role.</p>
