<p> <b>In this role, you will:</b> </p>
<ul>
<li>Provide functional leadership and creativity in the initiation of design, development, and optimization of Tissue and Towel converting assets, supporting processes, and supports day to day operations to meet unit objectives.</li>
<li>Lead multiple expense and capital projects, to improve process reliability, safety, overall operational performance, and to support cost transformation objectives.</li>
<li>Develop knowledge and skills in leadership of the application of engineering principles, scientific analysis, and project management while providing advice and counsel to others.</li>
<li>Carry out all job responsibilities in a safe manner. Develop equipment and processes that meet safety codes, policies, and guidelines. Provide for the safety and well-being of operators, maintenance, and other personnel.</li>
<li>Seek, recognize, define, and solve problems to achieve unit objectives. Resolve complex technical issues to determine root cause.</li>
<li>Work with external technical service providers, construction management providers and sourcing and supply vendor partners.</li>
<li>Discuss technical issues using effective communication skills in a business environment (mill technical and operations resources, suppliers, management, etc.).</li>

<p> <b>JOB REQUIREMENTS:</b> </p>
<ul>
<li>Requires a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or the equivalent combination of education, experience and continuing self-development. Normally experience in a variety of assignments.</li>
<li>2+ years of applicable experience.</li>
<li>Experience with manufacturing control systems, such as: PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers); variable speed motor drives; Motion Control (Servos); HMI (Human Machine Interfaces); distributed control systems; instrumentation; power distribution; machine safety systems.</li>
<li>Expertise in Electrical Engineering with a demonstrated ability to translate that knowledge into execution of process and capacity improvements in capital or expense projects.</li>
<li>A demonstrated ability to perform in cross-functional teams to achieve project results within required timeframes.</li>
<li>Experience working with external technical service providers.</li>
