<p> Job Title: Cost Controller<br />
 <br /> Location: Lagos<br />
 <br /> Employment Type: Full Time</p>
<p> <b>Key Responsibilities</b><br />
 <br /> Transaction Verification, Coding, and Posting: </p>
<ul>
<li>Ensure compliance, completeness, and accuracy of all transactions.</li>
<li>Code transactions according to appropriate ledger accounts.</li>
<li>Post transactions to the Cost Analysis spreadsheet.</li>
</ul>
<p> Preparation of Monthly Salary and Allowances: </p>
<ul>
<li>Calculate monthly salaries based on Personnel Timesheets.</li>
<li>Computation of Special allowances as per contract</li>
</ul>
<p> Client Invoicing: </p>
<ul>
<li>Generate Job Completion Certificates (JCC) for monthly service entries.</li>
<li>Prepare and issue client invoices.</li>
<li>Maintain client payment records and reconcile with invoices.</li>
</ul>
<p> Asset and Rent Schedules:<br />
 </p>
<ul>
<li>Maintain a comprehensive register of assets and rent.</li>
<li>Post monthly Asset and Rent Journals in Sage X3 ERP</li>
</ul>
<p> Project Analysis: </p>
<ul>
<li>Create Project Analysis reports for Project Managers.</li>
<li>Provide regular updates on Invoices Status Report.</li>
</ul>
<p> Cost Control Report: </p>
<ul>
<li>Project Budgeting</li>
<li>Reconcile Monthly Project Cost Analysis with Sage X3 postings.</li>
<li>Present Monthly Project Cost Analysis Reports.</li>
</ul>
<p> Cash-Flow Analysis: </p>
<ul>
<li>Develop and update monthly Cash Flow Analysis for all transactions.</li>
</ul>
<p> Software Usage: </p>
<ul>
<li>Utilize Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.</li>
<li>Leverage Sage X3 ERP for cost control and financial management.</li>
</ul>
<p> <b>Requirements</b> </p>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor&#8217;s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.</li>
<li>Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.</li>
<li>Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.</li>
<li>Candidate should not be older than 40 years.</li>
<li>Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in cost control and financial analysis in the oil and gas sector.</li>
<li>Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data manipulation and analysis.</li>
<li>Familiarity with Sage X3 ERP software.</li>
<li>Professional certifications such as ICAN, ACCA is an added advantage.</li>
