The online community continues to mourn the untimely demise of Nigerian content creator and TikTok sensation, Disturbing, also known as Buckle, whose passing during a live stream has sent shockwaves across social media.
In the wake of the tragedy, his pregnant wife, Omowunmi, has come forward to share the painful details surrounding his final moments.
According to Omowunmi, the incident occurred while she was preparing a meal in the kitchen and her husband was streaming live on TikTok. During the stream, he reportedly suffered a seizure, a condition he had battled for some time and was on medication for.
Tragically, in the course of the episode, he fell and hit his head on a stone in front of him, leading to significant blood loss.
“Yesterday morning, my husband was on TikTok live video while I was cooking his food in the kitchen. Suddenly, he had a seizure, fell down and hit his head on a stone that was in front of him.
“Blood was coming out of his head. A young boy and some neighbours that were passing saw him and thought he fainted. They started pouring water on him,” she narrated.
Omowunmi explained that she rushed out after being called by the young boy. Realising it was a seizure, she immediately intervened and had him taken to the hospital, where he was placed on oxygen. Sadly, he passed away the following morning.
She further revealed that this was not the first time her husband had experienced seizures.
“The last time he had it was in February. I have never left him to be by himself because of this seizure. If not that I was cooking in the kitchen, I would have grabbed him when the seizure happened,” she said.
Addressing public speculation, she firmly dismissed claims of a spiritual attack, clarifying that her husband’s condition was purely medical.
“To everyone saying it was a spiritual attack, that is false. It was a medical condition he had been battling with,” she stated.
