We are currently recruiting for a Director, US Oncology Health Care Professional (HCP) Marketing role in Breast Cancer. This is a key leadership position and requires a seasoned commercial leader who will lead the HCP launch strategy and tactics for future indications and maximize the opportunity for the US Breast Cancer franchise. The leader will manage one direct report. The role will be based in Upper Gwynedd, PA and will report to the Executive Director, Tumor Lead for Breast Cancer in the US Oncology Marketing.

This is a pivotal role and will require outstanding leadership in many different areas including strategic planning, portfolio positioning and optimization, market shaping, scenario planning, go-to-market launch readiness plan, execution excellence, performance analytics and cross-functional/ agencies collaboration. The successful candidate will be a dynamic, experienced marketer with a track record of commercial success and cross-functional team leadership.

Key Responsibilities include and are not limited to the following:

Build and lead the HCP launch strategy, go-to-market plan and KPIs (QBR/OKR) for future indications

Lead the strategic brand planning, market shaping, scenario planning and detailed launch execution plan collaborating across cross-functional team

Partner with market research, CI, analytics (HHDDA), sales training, customer facing teams and cross-functional team to build a robust launch readiness plan

Plan and execute across customer facing teams and digital channels based on a deep understanding of customers, marketplace, competitors, and business drivers

Partner with customer facing and digital promotions teams to develop innovative strategy, launch assets and engagement plans

Collaborate closely with the HCP in-line indications team and the Agile Digital Team (ADT) team on brand strategy, tactics, execution, metrics and real-time decision making.

Monitor, analyze, and synthesize key market dynamics in the rapidly evolving landscape

Develop short-term and long-term counter-competitive strategies/ plans in collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders and agencies

Proactively partner cross-functionally with other key stakeholders (e.g., sales, medical, market access, legal, regulatory, global commercial, and public affairs) to prioritize work and facilitate internal resource trade-offs as needed, e.g. budget, PRT review time

Escalate issues that represent significant barriers to launch execution and/or business impact

Challenge status quo and gain sponsorship/ support within the company to address gaps.

Education Requirement:

Required: BA/BS

Preferred: MBA/MS or similar

Required Experience and Skills:

Minimum 10 years of experience in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry

5+ years of Healthcare Professional (HCP) marketing experience (Digital & Non-Digital)

Strong marketing skills including developing marketing strategies, executing tactics, performance tracking, competitive planning and accountability for product growth

Ability to understand, interpret, and translate complex clinical data into clear communications

Strategic thinker with innovative mindset and ability to make critical decisions and recommendations among a range of strategic choices

Demonstrated excellence in project management and effectively managing multiple projects/ priorities

Strong relationship building, problem solving, innovative thinking, teamwork, and analytical

Strong written/verbal communication skills and experience presenting in high-visibility settings

Strength managing complexity and multiple competing priorities

Experience influencing without direct authority and working successfully with cross-functional teams and multiple agency partners.

Requires up to 20% travel, including some weekends.

Preferred Experience and Skills:

Oncology marketing experience

Breast cancer experience

Launch experience.

Direct customer experience (sales, sales leadership, etc.)

Test-and-learn mindset to drive a culture of innovation.

U.S. Hybrid Work Model
