We are seeking a Digital Marketing Executive to join Freshfields at our Global Centre in Manchester. This role has a global focus and forms part of the digital team, reporting to the Digital Manager based in Manchester.

The role will focus primarily on creating, testing and publishing webpages to support campaigns and supporting video and podcast publishing. Focus will be also be given to improving our SEO and broader accessibility and user experience standards.

Working closely with colleagues from across the firm, the successful candidate will build impactful and relevant webpages for the Freshfields website as well as provide measurement and insight to report on our success. This work will have a strong campaign focus but will also include activity that promotes the wider brand profile of the firm and our client offering.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the day to day management of publishing requests and the content management of various websites, client tools and extranets across our digital eco-system. This will involve liaising with various stakeholders from across the firm, at all levels on a global basis. This will also involve providing support and training to the wider publisher community across our website and blogging platform.

The Freshfields Global Centre provides both business and legal services to the firm. Our services are delivered in a way which supports the global nature of our firm and our clients, enables our fee earners to deliver exceptional service to our clients and to do that in a way which is efficient and effective.

Key Responsibilities and Deliverables

Repurposing content for use online and publishing across our website;

Day-to-day user support for Freshfields.com and other firm websites;

Managing and responding to queries in digital team enquiries inbox

Working with the Senior Digital Manager and directly supporting the Digital Manager in the development of all new initiatives;

Supporting with campaigns – attending campaign meetings, managing stakeholders, recommending page template designs, conducting performance analysis and ability to build and test pages with the CMS

Supporting on new website build – testing and build new components and page types

Supporting an effective measurement approach for all Freshfields’ digital presences;

Working with design and branding teams to create an appropriate look and feel to all online content;

Providing ad hoc support to our social media team when distributing content across our digital channels;

Liaising with our website agency partner to develop improvements and enhancements, as well as raising tickets relating to bugs and issues and support colleagues with testing in pre-production environment

Support the optimisation of our website content, continuously improving UX and SEO to maximise our content reach and impact with clients and prospects.

Training and supporting a network of website editors across the global network

Key Requirements

Essential

Technical

Experience using Optimizely CMS

Experience of HTML and CSS;

Prior experience using Google Analytics;

Prior experience using Microsoft Office applications

Experience of SEO & SEM

Experience of Accessibility and UX development;

Competencies

Experience with Adobe product suite;

Experience using the broader Google suite (search console, webmaster tools, Ads, My Business).
