The relationship between talent manager Ubi Franklin and the Adeleke family has reportedly come to an end after being sacked by Chioma Adeleke, wife of superstar singer Davido.
Controversial blogger Stella Dimokokorkus made the bold claim in an Instagram post, alleging that Ubi Franklin has been struggling since the reported sack.
She claimed that Chioma’s decision was influenced by the multiple controversies surrounding his financial dealings in the music industry.
“Former Music Label Boss Ubi Franklin is not having it easy at all… Aside from being dragged left, right and centre for allegedly owing several people amounts running into millions, insiders allege that Davido’s wife Chioma has allegedly relieved him of his duties as her manager because of the embarrassing situation,” the blogger wrote.
Further fueling speculations, members of Davido’s 30BG crew reportedly ignored Ubi Franklin’s birthday on Sunday. Unlike previous years, no birthday tributes were shared on social media by Davido, Chioma, or other close associates.
This development follows Ubi Franklin’s recent dispute with fast-rising singer Spyro over unpaid royalties. Spyro, in an interview with Echo Room, accused Ubi of owing him $5,000 for a performance in Ghana.
In response, Ubi denied the claim, stating that Spyro actually owed him money. He explained that he introduced the singer to a car dealer and expected a 10% commission, which he never received.
Spyro later took to Instagram to showcase his assets, declaring that God had blessed him without needing to pay a 10% cut.
