Job description: Bring your specialist knowledge and experience of anaesthetics to a more progressive and rewarding environment at our Practice Plus Group Hospital, Plymouth. We are open to both part-time and full-time consultants to work collaboratively with 30 like-minded Anaesthetists across the 9 Hospitals within the group.

About The Candidate
In this key role, you’ll be anaesthetising patients for all kinds of procedures – from ophthalmology to orthopaedics, and from gynaecology to general surgery. Alongside your clinical responsibilities, you’ll also have the chance to get involved in the administrative and managerial aspects of the department, and in the development of less experienced colleagues.

Who we’re looking for

Fully qualified, GMC-registered anaesthetists, with:

  • Broad clinical experience in all forms of anaesthetics
  • The ability to carry out procedures unsupervised and offer expert advice on all issues relating to this specialist area
  • Excellent communication and team-working skills
  • An innovative approach and an eagerness to embrace new ways of working
