<p> Why is this role important?</p>
<p> In this role you will be supporting client affairs activities to enable CIHI to attain remaining relevant to our health system leaders in Atlantic Canada. As a co-op student you will be involved in a variety of activities that support priority project for our department, that help drive CIHI&#8217;s overall mandate to deliver on better data, better decisions, for healthier Canadians. This unique opportunity will expose you to areas of stakeholder engagement of health system leaders, understanding local health system landscape and evolving delivery of health services within Atlantic Canada.</p>
<p><b>What you&#8217;ll do</b></p>
<p> &#8211; Use of tools such as excel, literature review (including grey literature), e-scan etc. to augment our understanding of current practice and trends related to health care service delivery to the population in Atlantic Canada.<br />
 &#8211; Coordination, collaboration, communication, monitoring, reporting and documentation activities<br />
 &#8211; Actively participate in problem-solving and coming up with solutions<br />
 &#8211; Execute solutions</p>
<p> What you&#8217;ll bring to the table</p>
<p> &#8211; Working towards an undergraduate or a graduate Population/Public Health/Business/Economics program requiring Co-op/Practicum as part of educational requirement<br />
 &#8211; Proficient with office suite<br />
 &#8211; Knowledge of technical tools<br />
 &#8211; Ability to communicate effectively to internal and external stakeholders both verbally and written<br />
 &#8211; Initiative driven and go-getter attitude</p>
