Tooting in novel and exciting position as a Clinical Research Fellow in Endoscopy with additional training in research&comma; education&comma; publishing and leadership&period;The clinical aspects of the post are in luminal gastroenterology and endoscopy&comma; the post providing excellent exposure to general luminal gastroenterology&comma; IBD&comma; GI bleeds and advanced endoscopy&period;This endoscopy based post would suite a dynamic individual looking to take an OOPE to extend and widen their experience and training in endoscopy&period; It would provide an opportunity for additional training in advanced endoscopy experience and widen their experience with exposure to research methodology&comma; publishing and leadership training&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><b>Main duties of the job<&sol;b><&sol;p>&NewLine;<p> Full time&comma; with out of hours service&sol;income from the regional GI bleed rota&period;Clinical activity includes out-patient clinics and endoscopy at SGH or QMH&period;The trainee will also participate in the out-of- hours GI bleed Rota across St George&&num;8217&semi;s&comma; Croydon and Epsom&sol;St Helier&&num;8217&semi;s Trusts which offers excellent experience and is paid a separate on-call supplement&period;Research&sol;Education&colon;Enrolment at St George&&num;8217&semi;s University of London and Kingston University and working towards a Post Graduate Certificate in Healthcare research skills and methods or healthcare education&period; There will be opportunities to become involved in on-going research projects&period;Publishing&colon; Experience of editing the quarterly journal Gastroenterology Today and working with the BMJ point of care team on the Ulcerative Colitis management guidelines&period; Opportunities for case reports&sol;reviews&sol;abstract publications&period; Advanced endoscopy training&colon; The post will involve advanced endoscopy training &lpar;flexible to suite needs of successful applicant&rpar;&period;
