<p><b>Job description</b>: As a leading care agency specialising in temporary recruitment Nurseplus are looking for Children’s Support Workers within the Gloucester area.</p>
<p> You will be required to have experience working with children and young people with moderate to severe learning disabilities and/or physical disabilities, Autism, ADHD, sensory impairment, and associated behavioural challenges and/or complex care needs.</p>
<p> Our packages are individual to each child, some children may require 2:1 support and others may require daily support in a school. Packages can include Suctioning, Personal Care, Enteral feeding, Manual handling, Oxygen Administration, Tracheostomy care, PEG Medication Administration and Saturation Monitoring.</p>

<p> What Nurseplus needs from you as a Children’s Support Worker: </p>
<ul>
<li>Must be over the age of 18</li>
<li>Must have at least three months’ UK based care experience in a professional child care setting or previous experience working in a care setting with learning difficulties or challenging behaviour</li>
<li>Must have overseas police clearance if applicable</li>
<li>Strong communication skills</li>
<li>Ability to work well in a sometimes pressurised environment</li>
<li>An enhanced DBS, which you can apply for upon registration (to be paid in full at a £45.20 fee with a full refund after 100 hours worked*)</li>
