Job description: As a leading care agency specialising in temporary recruitment Nurseplus are looking for Children’s Support Workers within the Gloucester area.
You will be required to have experience working with children and young people with moderate to severe learning disabilities and/or physical disabilities, Autism, ADHD, sensory impairment, and associated behavioural challenges and/or complex care needs.
Our packages are individual to each child, some children may require 2:1 support and others may require daily support in a school. Packages can include Suctioning, Personal Care, Enteral feeding, Manual handling, Oxygen Administration, Tracheostomy care, PEG Medication Administration and Saturation Monitoring.

What Nurseplus needs from you as a Children’s Support Worker:
- Must be over the age of 18
- Must have at least three months’ UK based care experience in a professional child care setting or previous experience working in a care setting with learning difficulties or challenging behaviour
- Must have overseas police clearance if applicable
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work well in a sometimes pressurised environment
- An enhanced DBS, which you can apply for upon registration (to be paid in full at a £45.20 fee with a full refund after 100 hours worked*)
