Position : Chief Financial Officer (CFO) – LAGOS
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) with a proven track record in financial management and leadership. The ideal candidate should possess 15-20 years of relevant experience and a deep understanding of financial strategies and practices. As a CFO, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial aspects of the organization, ensuring sound financial management, compliance, and strategic financial planning.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Financial Planning and Strategy
- Develop and implement financial strategies to support the organization’s goals and objectives.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to the executive team for decision-making.
Financial Reporting and Analysis
- Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, statements, and analyses for internal and external stakeholders.
- Conduct regular financial reviews to assess performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Budgeting and Cost Control
- Lead the budgeting process, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Implement cost control measures and monitor expenses to optimize resource utilization.
Risk Management
- Identify financial risks and develop strategies for mitigation.
- Implement risk management practices to safeguard the organization’s financial health.
Compliance and Governance
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting requirements.
- Establish and maintain effective internal controls and governance structures.
Stakeholder Communication
- Communicate financial performance and forecasts to stakeholders, addressing inquiries and concerns.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial alignment with organizational objectives.
Treasury and Cash Management
- Manage cash flow and liquidity, making informed decisions to support operational needs.
- Oversee treasury functions, including banking relationships and financial investments.
Strategic Financial Planning
- Work closely with the executive team to develop and implement financial strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Provide guidance on investment opportunities and financial decision-making.
Team Leadership
- Lead the finance team, providing mentorship, direction, and fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Ensure the development and retention of a high-performing finance team.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
- Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CPA, or CFA is highly desirable.
