Businesswoman sends stones to client who made fake payment

A businesswoman who deals in interior equipment has creatively responded to a fraudulent client by packaging stones in place of the original order.

This was revealed in a post shared on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter), where the woman explained how a customer sent her a fake bank alert of ₦200,000 for an order meant to be delivered to Akure.

In the accompanying video, the businesswoman is seen placing three large stones into a well-packaged carton.

The caption reads: “A customer sent a fake receipt of ₦200k to pack an order going to Akure.”

After realizing the payment was fraudulent, she decided to teach the scammer a lesson by sending them cartons filled with stones instead of the requested items.
