<p><b>Job description</b>: At The Wise Seeker, we are looking for a Business Development Consultant to work with one of our clients located in the UK: a B2B agency that has been growing each year, helping companies generate new business through effective lead generation support.</p>
<p> Location: Glasgow</p>
<p> Sector: Sales</p>
<p> Team: The team is currently made up of around 15 sales people who work in house and remotely</p>
<p> Tasks * Outbound sales calls / telemarketing to other businesses (no consumer calls) </p>
<ul>
<li>Generating leads and appointments</li>
<li>Focusing on quality over quantity to maximise overall results</li>
<li>As B2B Inside Sales / Business Development Consultant, you will have a strong sales background and thrive in a fast paced, target driven environment.</li>
<li>If you are a confident person who enjoys a prospecting role then this is perfect for you.</li>
<li>You will have fantastic communication skills and have previous experience with B2B sales.</li>
<li>You will have the ability to identify and target companies and key personnel, as well as the competency to influence prospective customers.</li>
</ul>
<p> Requirements * 5 years telemarketing experience minimum </p>
<ul>
<li>Outbound B2B telemarketing / telesales / call experience essential</li>
<li>Able to work on own initiative / works well as part of a team</li>
<li>People person</li>
<li>Good communicator</li>
<li>Proven track record</li>
<li>Self-motivated</li>
<li>Good attitude with energy and passion to succeed</li>
<li>Someone with a genuine drive and willingness to get results for clients</li>
<li>A professional friendly and confident telephone manner</li>
</ul>
<p> Benefits * Office hours are 8.45am &#8211; 5pm, Monday &#8211; Thursday. 8.45am &#8211; 4pm on a Friday with an early finish of 1pm if make target. </p>

<li>The salary is starting from £26k with uncapped comms circa £10k</li>
<li>Short probation period of 12 weeks with a check-in at 4 weeks to make sure the candidate is on track.</li>
