Burna Boy, you’re going to be the next big thing”

Nigerian singer, Konga has revealed the prophecy he gave Afrobeat artist, Burna Boy some years ago before he became famous.

During an interview on the Honest Bunch, Konga recounted his encounter with Burna Boy when he was struggling back then to break through the  music space.

According to Konga, when he told Burna Boy about what he noticed about his talent and how he believed he would be great, the people including the Afrobeat artist all laughed at his prophecy.

“We met in the blue room at the backstage. It was AY’s show. My instinct told me Burna Boy would be great. Wizkid was famous then. I told Burna Boy he would be the next big thing, I had the feeling. They all laughed. But that was the last conversation I had with him. And today, to God be the Glory”.
