Job description: The Global Recruitment team (UK Student Recruitment & Outreach) is responsible for the recruitment of undergraduates and postgraduates and for widening participation.

This role is an excellent opportunity for a well-organised and efficient individual with strong presentation and interpersonal skills to play a key part in our recruitment and outreach activity. The University has ambitious targets for recruitment and this role provides a key component of our work with schools and colleges to inform their students about Higher Education generally and the University of Reading specifically. You’ll also be responsible for specific aspects of our recruitment and outreach work on campus (such as managing our content and ambassador presence on digital forums and supporting subject specific events); and acting as a core representative for the University at in-school HE fairs and events providing information and support for individuals considering Reading as an option, and for handling enquiries from prospective students, both via email and in person.

The role requires the ability to work at pace in a fast-moving environment; an understanding of both the Higher Education and schools sectors; an aptitude for working with people and technical systems; and the ability to manage your own workload in order to deliver on multiple projects simultaneously.
