We are now hiring an Assistant Restaurant General Manager in Red Deer, AB. This is an exciting opportunity to join a team of experienced professionals in the hospitality industry. As the Assistant Restaurant General Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that all operational controls are followed while maintaining a high level of guest satisfaction. You will also play an integral role in training and developing unit management and hourly staff while helping create a positive atmosphere.
Responsibilities:
- Be visible with floor presence
- Establish sense of urgency
- Role model service standards
- Increase knowledge base and develop others
- Maintain high level of guest satisfaction and sales focus
- Follow up on company-wide promotions programs
- Develop employee sales building programs
- Respond promptly to any guest concerns/issues
- Assist in recruitment, orientation, training, and development
- Help create positive atmosphere
Requirements:
- Previous leadership experience in hospitality industry
- General understanding of restaurant operational controls
- Proven record leading teams
- Demonstrated commitment to guest service
- Well organized and able set priorities/plan/make decisions
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Possesses winning attitude
