<p> Job Position: Junior Account (Graduate Trainee)<br />
 Job Location: Festac, Lagos<br />
 Employment Type: Full-time</p>
<p><b>Responsibilities</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Assisting with financial and management accounts preparation for Sole Traders, Partnerships and Limited Companies</li>
<li>Posting and processing journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded</li>
<li>Carrying out bookkeeping activities including journal postings and ledger reconciliations</li>
<li>Processing client records accurately using Xero, QuickBooks and other accountancy software.</li>
<li>Preparation of VAT returns and management accounts</li>
<li>Updating accounts receivable and issue invoices</li>
<li>Assisting with managing client expectations and deadlines</li>
<li>Assisting with the preparation of personal and business tax returns</li>
<li>Assisting with general administrative duties including meeting and greeting clients, filing, answering the telephone and supporting the team to meet deadlines as required.</li>
</ul>
<p><b>Requirements</b></p>
<ul>
<li>BSc / BA in Accounting, Finance or relevant field</li>
<li>0 &#8211; 2 Years of experience</li>
<li>Proven experience as a junior accountant</li>
<li>Must reside in or around Festac</li>
<li>Excellent organizing abilities</li>
<li>Great attention to detail</li>
<li>Good with numbers and figures and an analytical acumen</li>
<li>Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices</li>
<li>Excellent knowledge of MS Office and familiarity with relevant computer software (e.g. SAP)</li>
</ul>
<p><b>Expected salary</b>: 60000 per month<br />
