<p>Manchester United manager <a target="_blank" href="https://gistreel.com/tag/ruben-amorim"><strong>Ruben Amorim</strong></a> has admitted the club will not have funds to strengthen the squad during the January transfer window.</p>
<p>This is despite mounting pressure following their fourth consecutive defeat against <a target="_blank" href="https://gistreel.com/?s=newcastle+united"><strong>Newcastle United</strong></a> on Monday.</p>
<p><strong>The 2-0 loss to Magpies</strong> at Old Trafford highlighted the team’s struggles under Amorim, who is implementing a 3-4-3 system that many players have yet to adapt to.</p>
<p>Speaking after the match, Amorim acknowledged the financial constraints:<br />“We don’t have that possibility in January.</p>

<p>“You know the situation better than I do. It’s not a case of arriving here and spending a lot of money to change the team. That’s not an option right now.”</p>
<p>Reports from ESPN suggest any potential January signings will rely on player sales or loans to free up funds.</p>
