<p> Paladin Technologies Emergency Response Center is actively searching for multiple ‘Alarm Operator&#8217; to join our Ottawa-based Response Center, coordinating the emergency response for a varied portfolio of clients nationwide.</p>
<p> SHIFT AVAILABILITIES: </p>
<ul>
<li>Nights: 8pm &#8211; 8am EST / 12 Hour shifts</li>
</ul>
<p><b>RESPONSIBILITIES:</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Use exceptional customer service skills while remaining calm and focused in stressful, high pressure situations, adapting quickly in a dynamic environment</li>
<li>Actively listen to caller to summarize key points of information and enter into computer system</li>
<li>Actively seek win-win solutions, at all times maintaining professionalism in cases of healthy conflict and in supporting/managing differences of opinion.</li>
</ul>
<p><b>QUALIFICATIONS:</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Ability to remain calm and provide direction while responding to an emergency situation.</li>
<li>Customer service, Dispatch, Hospitality and Outgoing Call Centre experience is an asset</li>
<li>Ability to pay attention to detail and be able to follow instructions.</li>
<li>Exercise mental flexibility and situational awareness within a team-based environment.</li>
<li>Ability to ‘Think on your feet’ and remain calm under pressure</li>
<li>Strong verbal and written communication skills.</li>
<li>Bilingualism (French &; English) would be considered an asset.</li>
<li>Ability to use Microsoft based applications.</li>
</ul>
