Three children who went missing from Uburu, Ebonyi state, on October 25, 2023, have been found alive and safely returned to their parents.

Zimuzochukwu Loveth Iwuorah, Ogechukwu Miracle Iwuorah, and Roseline Wisdom Clement, aged between 4 and 7, were discovered after an extensive search effort by law enforcement.

According to the initial report by Legit.ng, the children had followed new tenants who moved into their compound, leading to their mysterious disappearance.

Mrs. Iwuorah Lovina Amauche, the mother of Zimuzochukwu and Ogechukwu, revealed that the kidnappers, who posed as co-tenants, had left with her children under the pretext of charging their phone at a nearby store.

“They were kidnapped by people who claimed to be co-tenants who parked into our compound on Monday 23rd October. And on the 25th, which was on Wednesday, they left with my children with the notion that they were going to charge their phone at a nearby store,” the mother said while sharing the harrowing experience.

Fortunately, Mrs. Iwuorah Lovina Amauche, the mother of the children, reached out with the joyful news of her children’s recovery.

The kidnapper, who had taken the three children, was reportedly apprehended after further criminal activities.

Mrs. Iwuorah revealed that the same kidnapper had targeted other children in January and sold them in Lagos state.

The authorities reportedly tracked the perpetrator, leading to her arrest in Obosi, Anambra state, where she had purchased a plot of land.

“Amazing Grace!! God almighty has done it finally for me. My children that were lost have finally been recovered. To Him alone be praised forever. These are my Children who were lost but are now found. May His name alone be praised forever.” Mrs. Iwuorah Lovina Amauche said.
