<p>Tragedy strikes as 15-year-old boy, <strong><a target="_blank" href="https://gistreel.com/tag/Akash-Patni">Akash Patni</a> </strong>tragically passes away after an Air India plane crashes near his family’s tea stall in Ahmedabad, <strong><a target="_blank" href="https://gistreel.com/tag/India">India</a></strong>.</p>
<p>Recall that <strong>social media was flooded with tributes and condolences on June 12, 2025</strong>, following the tragic plane crash.</p>

<p>The plane, a Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner, was headed to London’s Gatwick Airport with 242 people on board.</p>
<p>According to reports, Akash’s mother, Sita, survived the crash with injuries and is currently in the ICU, while his father, Suresh, is struggling to cope with the loss and inform his wife about their son’s death.</p>
<p>The family awaits DNA test results to identify Akash’s, while the cause of the crash remains under investigation.</p>
