Nigerian actor Yul Edochie has stirred a heated online debate with a recent social media post after he asked to be called “Father Abraham“.
Taking to Instagram, the film director invited his admirers to refer to him as “Abraham, father of many nations,” leaving many perplexed.
This reference to Abraham, the biblical character noted for having numerous descendants, has sparked conjecture about the meaning of his statements.
“New name alert. Anywhere you see me, call me Abraham father of many nations” Yul Edochie wrote.
His outburst has elicited reactions online. Many attacked him, claiming that he did not deserve to be called that name while others speculated if he was expecting another child with his second wife.

He doesn’t want to loose his wife and family but the other woman has gone far in what she did to get him. Yul’s soul is restless, forget all he’s doing here. The Edochies family are weak, else who is Judy to have held their son to ransom”
