<p>Nigerian Afrobeats singer, <a target="_blank" href="http://gistreel.com/tag/yemi-alade" rel="noopener"><strong>Yemi Alade</strong></a> addresses a fan who draws comparisons between her and fellow music queen, <a target="_blank" href="http://gistreel.com/tag/tiwa-savage" rel="noopener"><strong>Tiwa Savage</strong></a>, stating she’s better than her colleague.</p>
<p>It is worth noting that Yemi Alade and Tiwa Savage stand out as two of Nigeria’s most prominent female music superstars. Despite their successes, there has been <strong>speculation of a rivalry</strong>, at least among their fanbases.</p>

<p>Addressing this perception, Yemi Alade seemingly dismissed any notion of a bitter rivalry when she cautioned an enthusiastic fan on platform X (formerly Twitter) against speaking negatively about her Nigerian counterpart.</p>
<p>The incident unfolded when the self-proclaimed Mama Africa, scheduled to perform at the opening ceremony of the 2023 <a target="_blank" href="http://gistreel.com/?s=afcon" rel="noopener"><strong>African Cup of Nations (AFCON)</strong></a> in Côte d’Ivoire, shared a video clip with the caption, “Africa, our time is NOW!!”</p>

<p>Yemi Alade swiftly quashed the X user’s comment, asserting, “<em>Comparison is the thief of Joy. We’re both winning…. celebrate and support us all</em>.”</p>
