<p>A Nigerian <a target="_blank" href="http://gistreel.com/tag/woman"><strong>woman</strong></a> has taken to social media to share her distressing ordeal in the wake of her <strong>husband</strong>‘s disappearance and a deepening family conflict.</p>
<p>The woman, who goes by the handle @h_okolobe on the platform X (formerly Twitter), revealed that her husband, Mr. Believe Ubara, has been missing since January 19, 2024, after reportedly being kidnapped at the entrance of their home in Asaba, Delta State.</p>
<p>According to her, the kidnapping was witnessed by their security guard, who immediately alerted her.</p>
<p>Despite paying a ransom of “â¦700,000”, her husband was not released, and no contact has been made since.</p>
<p>“<em>My husband (Mr. Believe Ubara) has been missing—neither seen nor heard from—since January 19, 2024. He was kidnapped by armed men one unfortunate Friday evening at the entrance to our home. The incident was witnessed by our security man, who alerted me.”</em></p>
<p>“<em>Calls came in from the kidnappers, and a ransom of â¦700,000 was paid, yet they refused to release my husband &#x1f625;. I have gone to numerous places seeking solutions, with help from family. Yet, there has been no word.”</em></p>
<p>While she continues to search for her husband, the situation has taken a troubling turn.</p>
<p>In a recent update, she shared that her mother-in-law—who initially moved into their home as a guest with only personal belongings—has now laid claim to the property built and furnished by her missing husband.</p>
<p>“<em>It is so hard to believe that a grandmother would force her only grandchildren and daughter-in-law out of their home—all because of greed”</em></p>
<p>“<em>A house that was fully built and furnished by my husband. She and her other children came into our home with nothing but their clothes. Now, they’re claiming ownership.”</em></p>
<p>She further stated that the mother-in-law has refused to honor repeated summons by the traditional court at her husband’s hometown in Ozoro, Isoko North LGA, Delta State, where she was expected to respond to inquiries about her actions regarding her son’s properties.</p>
<p>“<em>My mother-in-law has been summoned several times to the king’s palace court in my husband’s hometown, Ozoro, Isoko North LGA, Delta State, to explain why she is taking over all of my husband’s property. She has bluntly refused to comply.”</em></p>
<p>As the search for Mr. Believe Ubara continues, the woman is calling for justice and urging the public and authorities to help her find answers—not just to her husband’s disappearance, but also the battle for the home they once shared.</p>
