Florence Nwaeke, the wife of former Rivers State Head of Service (HoS), Dr. George Nwaeke, has made a heartfelt public appeal for help after her husband’s alleged sudden disappearance following his resignation.
In an emotional interview on Friday, Florence Nwaeke expressed her deep concern over the unexplained circumstances surrounding her husband’s disappearance, which she believes may be linked to his recent controversial allegations against Governor Siminalayi Fubara.

Florence revealed that shortly after Dr. Nwaeke’s arrival in Abuja, he called to confirm that he had landed safely.
However, her anxiety grew after watching an online interview featuring her husband, which she found troubling.
“I said, ‘That is not my husband. That is not my husband,’” she recounted, unable to recognize the person in the interview.
In her desperate attempt to contact him, Florence sent several messages, including one that read, “Are you under duress? Have they kidnapped you? Talk to me now. Why are you not responding?”
Unfortunately, her messages went unanswered, and her calls were not returned.
My husband is in trouble, Nigerians, help me!” Florence pleaded.
The alleged disappearance of Dr. Nwaeke follows his shocking accusations against Governor Fubara, where he publicly claimed that the Rivers State Governor was behind the bombing of the State House of Assembly in 2023, allegedly to prevent his impeachment.
