Job Brief
- We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Kitchen Assistant to join our team and contribute to our continued success.
- As a Kitchen Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen.
- You will work closely with our kitchen staff to maintain a clean and organized workspace, assist with food preparation, and help with various tasks.
- Your role will be essential in delivering high-quality meals to our customers and ensuring a positive dining experience.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist with food preparation, including chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen area.
- Wash, peel, and clean vegetables and fruits.
- Organize and stock kitchen supplies and ingredients.
- Assist with food assembly and plating.
- Operate kitchen equipment such as dishwashers, ovens, and grills.
- Follow food safety and hygiene protocols.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth workflow.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Kitchen Manager.
Qualifications & Experience
- Should possess an OND or a minimum of SSCE qualification.
- 1 – 4 years relevant work experience in hospitality Industries.
Knowledge, Skills, Competencies & Abilities:
- Previous experience in a kitchen environment is a plus but not required.
- A strong work ethic and a willingness to learn.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment.
- Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
