Compensation: Pursuant to Colorado regulations, if this job is performed in Colorado, the salary range is $50,000-$60,000 plus bonus potential. Eligible to participate in the . Are you the Website Specialist we’re looking for?
Our Website Specialist will coordinate with our Project Management team and leverage our WordPress platform to create best in class websites for our clients and deliver on time and on budget. This role will also take care of ad hoc content updates and work directly with our partners who provide website-related services as needed.
As part of our Team, you’ll be responsible for:
- Executing front-end site builds via WordPress for new website projects
- Reading and following creative designs and handling website updates, while working within established guidelines
- Executing content updates including copy, images, links, and other information for on websites based on client requests
- Creating and maintaining standard operating procedures (SOP) for all website features/functionalities/components and for the processes related to website builds, hosting, and maintenance
- Creating and managing user role and login database for content admins/editors in WordPress for internal and third-party partners
- Working with our development partner to facilitate any back end development, updates, maintenance, or platform enhancement requests
- Creating, updating, and managing documentation for content editors
- Assisting with the conceptualization, planning, and design of new website templates, strategies, and offerings
- Managing additional website and product projects as time allows
We’re looking for someone who has:
- 2-3 years experience working in WordPress, specifically creating and publishing full sites from existing themes, uploading content and applying brands, and some development knowledge
- Experience with design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) with an understanding of UX/UI (user experience/user interface)
- Experience collaborating directly with developers, design teams, and clients, including a basic understanding of development frameworks, integrations, plug-ins, hosting, compliance, and security
- Understanding of website design & development process including staging and production environments
- A great work ethic with the ability to work both independently and as part of a larger team
- Discipline to stay on track with timelines, stay organized, and achieve results
- Strong verbal and written and communication skills; able to present and translate complex information to non-technical people
- Effectively managed project workflow from kickoff to completion with a customer service mindset.
- The ability to be collaborative, adaptive, and flexible and to function effectively in a fast paced, high-growth environment
- Knowledge of SEO (search engine optimization), HTML and CSS a plus
- Understanding of various types of testing including functional and non-functional tests and has used testing tools
- Experience with a variety of relevant platforms for development, design, and project management such as Adobe Creative Suite, Adobe XD, Figma, and Asana
Qualifications we’re looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in UX (user experience), product design, web design, product design, marketing or similar area
- A proven ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and people in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience that demonstrates your eye for detail and ability to make decisions
- Fantastic organizational skills
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
- Innate sense of professionalism and pride in your work
