A recent report sheds lights on the ongoing divorce proceedings between American TV personality, Porsha Williams and Simon Guobadia
Recall that Porsha Williams initiated the divorce proceedings in 2023, citing irreconcilable differences.
Notably, the court hearing for their divorce took place on June 11, 2025, where both parties appeared via Zoom.”
The hearing lasted nearly 10 hours, during which the exes had no interaction.
However, the judge enforced the prenup, ordering Simon to pay Porsha $40,000 in monthly alimony for up to 15 months.
Additionally, Porsha will retain the Rolls-Royce gifted by Simon and has partial control over their $7 million home.
According to the ruling, Porsha has until 2027 to decide whether she wants to stay in the $7 million home; upon choosing to remain, she’ll need to refinance and buy out Simon’s 50% stake, while he’ll continue paying the mortgage.
Recall that Simon Guobadia was deported to Nigeria after released from ICE custody in the US.
His deportation stems from issues with his immigration status, including overstaying his visa on two separate occasions.
