<p> ABS is seeking highly qualified Truck Drivers/Warehouse Workers responsible for operating heavy duty closed box-trucks to make deliveries of alcoholic beverages to County licensees and County liquor stores.</p>
<p><b>WHAT YOU&#8217;LL BE DOING</b></p>
<p> As an ABS Truck Driver/Warehouse Worker, you will responsible for: </p>
<ul>
<li>Performing truck operator maintenance checks and services, and paperwork</li>
<li>Operating a truck to make deliveries, following route and delivery instructions</li>
<li>Checking orders placed onto trucks</li>
<li>Unloading merchandise with the aid of a helper</li>
<li>Directing the helper to assist with unloading and movement of merchandise into customer storage area(s)</li>
<li>Verifying shipments to customers and recording discrepancies or changes</li>
<li>Filling forms for returns or credits and making adjustments on invoices</li>
<li>Collecting payments and signing copies of invoices</li>
<li>Checking shipments received at warehouse; filling orders; and working the pick-line for customer pick up</li>
<li>Operating a hand cart</li>
<li>Performing other general warehouse job duties and job related duties as required</li>
</ul>
<p><b>ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:</b></p>
<p> Selected candidates for this position are required to successfully complete a pre-employment medical exam, drug and alcohol screening and lifting evaluation. Any applicant who fails these requirements may be disqualified from employment for this position.</p>
<p> Heavy physical effort is required on a regularly recurring basis to move alcoholic beverage products weighing up to and including 160 pounds.</p>
<p> Physical effort is required at times to lift, carry, and move product. This position requires, pushing, pulling and performing controlled drops of product along with related tasks; and uses forklift, cherry picker, pallet jack, powered pallet jack, hand cart and other warehouse equipment to access and transport product in the warehouse.</p>
<p> The individual selected for this position will be considered an Essential Employee and overtime work will be required. Essential employees must report to work during a period of general emergency or liberal leave.</p>
<p> To ensure a positive workplace and to comply with federal, state and County laws, the incumbent is responsible for completing mandatory trainings within the first three to six months or within the specified timeframe.</p>

<p><b>Minimum Qualifications</b></p>
<p> Experience: Two (2) years of experience as a Truck Driver Helper/Warehouse Worker with Alcohol Beverage Services, or two (2) years&#8217; experience driving and helping deliver in an industrial or commercial supply industry. Also requires the ability to read and write in English and compute orders and money. An equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be substituted for the experience and/or education.</p>
<p> Physical Ability: Ability to move by lifting, pushing, or rolling objects weighing up to and including one hundred-sixty (160 lbs.) pounds.</p>
<p> License: Possession and maintenance at all times of a valid Class B or Class A Commercial Driver&#8217;s License (CDL) form the applicant&#8217;s state of residence.</p>
