<p><b>Job description</b>: Prestwick Aircraft Maintenance Ltd (PAM) is one of four heavy aircraft maintenance providers for our client Ryanair, carrying out maintenance on Ryanair&#8217;s entire fleet of New Generation Boeing 737-800 series aircraft, at our Hangar facility located at Prestwick International Airport, Ayrshire, Scotland.</p>
<p> We are currently recruiting for a Sheet Metal Worker to join a team of highly skilled staff, with an essential part to play in safely maintaining a fleet of over 450 aircraft for one of the world’s largest and most successful airlines.</p>
<p><b>Duties Include:</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Carry out aircraft component sheet metal repairs</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Maintain a high standard of work in all tasks</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Complete the appropriate documentation</li>
<li>Comply with all company procedures, policies, regulations and MOE</li>
<li>Maintain a safe and clean working environment</li>
<li>Ensure the company Health and Safety policy is adhered to</li>
<li>Any other tasks as directed by Supervisor / Manager</li>
</ul>
<p><b>Experience and Qualifications:</b></p>
<p><b>Requirements</b></p>
<ul>
<li>A knowledge of aircraft sheet metal repair would be desirable</li>
<li>Previous MRO component or A/C sheet metal experience would be an advantage</li>
<li>HNC / HND or equivalent qualification in engineering / mechanical is essential</li>
<li>Background in engineering/maintenance is desirable</li>
<li>Exhibit a positive attitude with a willingness to learn</li>
<li>Excellent spoken and written English is essential</li>
<li>Must be willing to work shifts (including nights)</li>
<li>Flexible approach to working in a fast-changing environment</li>
<li>Successful candidate must provide a clean Disclosure Scotland to work at UK Airports</li>
