This position is located in Borger, Texas, USA and is not available for remote work.
As part of the Maintenance team, the Reliability Technician will report directly to the Supervisor, Reliability. The successful candidate must be committed to working in a highly safety-conscious team environment, and will be expected to identify and mitigate hazards, possess the judgment and utilize the tools provided to conduct work in a safe manner at all times.
What you will do:
- Actively engage in personal and co-worker health and safety to ensure we all go home safe, every day
- Troubleshoots actual or potential operational and/or maintenance problems and takes appropriate action to see that they are addressed
- Develop/Maintain equipment analysis routes
- Work directly with Maintenance/Operations for establishing base lines after equipment turnover
- Maintain accurate equipment logs and files
- Engage in minor equipment maintenance
- Ensure housekeeping is done to standard
- Respond to callouts regarding vibration/equipment health concerns
- Ability to acquire training in vibration analysis to assist in troubleshooting
- Ability to acquire training in Bentley Nevada for “online monitoring” system maintenance.
What you bring to the position:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years in rotating equipment reliability
- Minimum CAT II certification preferred
- Must possess a mechanical aptitude which may include the rebuilding/troubleshooting of pumps, compressors, and turbines
- Ability to read, understand and apply results from vibration analysis through experience, training or direction from a more knowledgeable source
- Proficiency in computer applications such as Microsoft Office Suite and SAP
- Ability to excel in a team environment
- Troubleshooting and analytical ability
- Ability to properly fill out a Safe Work Permit, and identify hazards in the area
- Must have the capacity to learn and perform positions of increasing responsibility in the plant.
