The Department of Economics at the University of Southampton is seeking to appoint 3 Part-time Teaching Fellows (0.4-0.6) in Economics with research interests in any area of Economics and a commitment to excellence in scholarship and teaching. We are looking for someone passionate about working with students and staff with a view to continuous improvement.
The University of Southampton ranks in the top 1% of world Universities and is one of the UK’s top 15 research intensive universities. The Economics Department has an outstanding reputation for high quality applied and theoretical research in all core areas of Economics.
Expectations from the post holder include innovative teaching practices at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels; research supervision at Masters and PhD levels and contribution to departmental and university administration.
The successful candidate will be expected to start in February 2024 but a later starting date may be negotiable.
