As a Tax Analyst, you will be responsible for executing all tax matters (direct, Indirect, Tax Planning and Tax Accounting) and related processes in the market in a compliant, efficient and effective manner. The person in this role will also assess the company on process initiatives by analysis, telltale trends, and target areas for improvement.
YOUR DAY TO DAY
– Being up to date with relevant legislation and executing best in class operational Tax processes for Tax reporting, Tax provision, transfer pricing, indirect and direct tax compliance.
– Executing and ensuring timely and accuracy of all tax filings obligations in the respective markets. – Ensuring timely payment and/or refund of all tax obligations.
– Providing advisory training to respective teams in the organization to assure proper tax risk mitigation.
– Ensuring proper system set up and master data related to set up for tax processes
– Continuously improving tax processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness
– Supporting the tax audits and communication with the Fiscal Authorities.
WHAT WERE LOOKING FOR ?
– Bachelor’s in finance, Law or Economics preferably Taxation
– Minimum of 1-year experience in taxation matters
– Knowledge of Regional Tax concepts
– Basic Accounting knowledge
– Cultural savvy
– Fluent in English (spoken and writing skills)
– SAP knowledge as an asset
– Experience interacting with various stakeholders like different internal teams, external auditors and local fiscal authorities.
