Talent Acquisition Manager

As Talent Acquisition Manager, your interpersonal and networking skills will develop an outstanding talent pool, and you will take pride in being an ambassador for an employer of choice.
What you will be doing:
- Consistently offers professional, engaging and friendly service
- Accountable for managing the recruitment processes and strategies for Fairmont Chateau Whistler
- Lead and manage the day-to-day recruitment activities within the Talent & Culture department
- On-going coaching, support and follow-up with department heads and hiring managers on recruitment methods
- Lead and coach the Talent Acquisition Coordinator
- Develop and facilitate recruitment training and workshops to department heads and hiring managers
- Develop and implement effective marketing and advertising to attract potential candidates while building and maintaining relationships with various agencies and hospitality/tourism/culinary/golf schools
- Research, plan and participate in recruitment trips to key employment markets and partner schools
- Collaborate and work closely with recruiters within Canada’s Western Mountain Region, as it relates to various recruitment strategies, including the Student Work Experience Program (SWEP)
- Analyze and collaborate with Talent Acquisition Coordinator to understand and effectively utilize statistical data
- Leverage all avenues of immigration and mobility programs to maximize applicant pool
- Oversee and assist with the Temporary Foreign Worker program
- Manage the recruitment and relocation budget
- Assist colleagues with career development discussions as required
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Your experience and skills include:
- Human Resources experience an asset
- Computer literacy with strong knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
- Strong communication skills with the ability to develop relationships and foster cooperation
- Ability to work independently
- Proven ability to handle multiple tasks in very busy environment
- Flexible to meet constantly changing demands of the workplace
- Exceptional organizational skills with previous experience handling confidential issues
- University/College education in Human Resources or related discipline is an asset
