In your role, you will

• Lead the implementation and integration of Siemens Capital Software into electrical wiring engineering, method, quality & manufacturing processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and customize, if required, the software to meet specific Bombardier needs.
• Ensure seamless connectivity between Siemens Capital Software and other relevant tools and systems on multiple program platforms.
• Analyze existing aerospace electrical wiring engineering & manufacturing processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Develop and implement solutions to enhance efficiency, reduce cycle times, and optimize resource utilization.
• Participate & oversee the overall management of the Bombardier ECAD PLM roadmap deployment.
• Plan, set & provide the minimum required IT equipment to support the new ECAD solution.
• Develop and implement protocols & use cases for tool validation and certification.
• Provide training sessions for team members on the effective use of Siemens Capital Software.
• Act as a subject matter expert and provide ongoing support to users, addressing any issues or challenges in the software implementation.
• Collaborate with aerospace engineers, methods, quality, production & other stakeholders to ensure the seamless integration of Siemens Capital Software into the overall manufacturing process.
• Foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.

As our ideal candidate

• You have an engineering bachelor degree or equivalent.
• You have 7 years or more of relevant experience in a specific aerospace engineering field.
• Knowledge of aircraft systems (i.e.: EWIS, Electrical, Avionics, Completions, etc.) on multiple program platform is a definite asset.
• Have a strong knowledge of aircraft wiring (EWIS) & electrical systems, including wiring diagrams & electrical harness routing drawings is required.
• Experience in engineering process & tools management for software development would be advantageous.
• Knowledge of Siemens Capital Software in an engineering & manufacturing environment is required.
• You have a working experience using Catia V4 & V5 and MS Office.
• You have a strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• You have an excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• You have the ability to work independently & effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment.
• You have good knowledge of programming languages and code: Java, JS, HTML, CSS, .Net, etc.
• You have a good knowledge of overall Bombardier IT Infrastructure: Network, Backend Server, Services, Database(Oracle, Postgres), Client Side, Virtual Machine, Cloud.
• Having a project management experience is a plus.
