We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Audit Officer

Job Location: Akwa Ibom

Job Description

• Will be responsible for the financial, Risk management aspects of Global Fund (GF program including the responsibility of enforcing compliance with budget, work plan and ECEWS financial guidelines and policies; participating in stocktaking activities and on-the-spot checks.
• Enforcing transparency of operations and reporting all exceptions to stakeholders and management; affirming or otherwise to the reliability of financial and operational reporting.
• tracking audit trail and providing feedback regarding the accuracy of the financial reports; monitoring internal controls and financial systems and ensuring reliability.

Minimum Recruitment Standard

• BS/BA Degree in Accounting, Finance and Business Administration or its recognized equivalent
• CPA, ACA, ACCA, CIA, CIMA, CFE or any other relevant professional qualification is an added advantage
• 2 – 5 years relevant experience
• Up to 2-4 years’ experience in internal control functions
• Knowledge of IIA’s International Professional Practices Framework is an advantage.
• Knowledge of local and donor contractual requirements and regulations Knowledge of generally accepted accounting, budgeting and fiscal control theory and practices.
• Budget development skills with multi funding sources and general ledger skills.
• Relevant software skills to include automated accounting software and database spreadsheets and Management Information Systems.
• Ability to work with others and to develop and maintain compatibility among project staff, subcontractors, and recipients of assistance.
• Ability to report to supervisor on a regular basis.
• Time management skills, both in planning and organizing work to meet deadlines.
• Ability to effectively communicate financial and internal control issues to staff with little or no financial background.
• Attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy.
• Ability to use software tools to present data clearly and concisely.
• Fluent English speaker with superior spoken and written communications; candidate must be comfortable speaking in front of large audiences.

Job Position: Data Entry Clerk

Job Location: Osun

Job Description

• To ensure that all client cards are duly completed by the attending health workers.
• Ensure that all services delivered by the health facility are duly registered in the designated registers and that all registers are filled appropriately.
• Ensure that all data from the field is entered into the designated databases; Ensure that the data generated is used to support evidence-informed programming.
• To ensure that the monthly services statistics for the facilities are duly entered into the DHIS2 database and LAMIS platform.
• To ensure the accurate collection of data in the OSS and to work to improve the quality of data generated from the facility.
• To support the use of data to improve learning and programming.

Minimum Recruitment Standard

• Minimum of HND (Medical Records) or Bachelor’s Degree.
• 1 year of experience Local or International NGOs; preferably in Care and treatment Experience with use, deployment and DHIS management will be an added advantage.
• Hands on experience in the use of computer (Word processing, Excel, and database programs).
• Knowledge of and experience in spreadsheet and database management work.
• Skills using MS Excel, MS Access, SPSS and/or SAS and Epi-Info highly desirable but not necessary as trainings will be provided.
• Strong data management and analysis skills
• Good communication skills including proficiency in both written and spoken English.
