Your day-to-day:

As a Sales Activator, you will be responsible for building and leading a team of Brand Ambassadors to generate awareness of Iluma among legal-age smokers in a designated Hub City (Etobicoke and Mississauga)

YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR:

  • Execute the Hub City Strategy to continuously recruit and build Brand Ambassador team to ensure the continued success of our heated tobacco product portfolio.
  • Lead a team of Brand Ambassadors within designated Hub City and provide them with the right tools and coaching to build Iluma awareness and product understanding among legal-age smokers.
  • Track and analyze the performance of Brand Ambassadors and provide performance-based coaching to achieve key performance indicators within the existing regulatory framework.
  • Train and develop sales capabilities of Brand Ambassadors to develop to drive performance to achieve and maintain excellent customer service levels during interactions with legal-age smokers.
  • Identifying high-potential business opportunities to generate product awareness among legal-age smokers and build category understanding through B2B partnerships. The Sales Activator will prepare new business opportunities and make recommendations to the City Hub Commercial Deployment Manager.
  • Provide Iluma product education to legal-age smokers at meetings and events at age-restricted venues, leading data collection and post-event follow-up.

YOU ARE THE RIGHT PERSON FOR THIS JOB IF YOU HAVE:

  • Minimum 3 years of progressive sales experience
  • A self-starter with strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and administrative skills
  • Experience managing teams and relationship building.
  • Experience in CPG or international companies, Brand Ambassador management is an asset.
  • Completed post-secondary education

This is a hybrid position: 50% Business Development Manager responsible for identifying, qualifying, closing and implementing incremental customers and contracts. 50% to support, coach, develop and remove obstacles for sales team. In this role, you will:

  • Enthusiastically contact our restaurants and guide them through the onboarding process
  • Work with our restaurant partners to configure the OpenTable system to their needs
  • Use phone and online tools to train key restaurant staff with an emphasis on specific ways the restaurant can use OpenTable to optimize their operations
  • Provide administrative and coordinator functions related to Global On-Boarding program including scheduling training activities, content collection, and software implementations
  • Work with restaurant staff and potential 3rd parties to deploy the OpenTable RestRef widget
  • Work with internal partners to help develop and refine the On-Boarding program
  • Effectively handle a queue of restaurants to reduce time-to-onboarding
  • Communicate status of tasks and the backlog to peers and a broader community

Job Qualifications – What you bring to the table

Required:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent and 3 or more years of experience in the Underwriting or Market Facing area.

OR

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent and 6 or more years of experience in the Claims or Underwriting Support area

OR

  • Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice including an Associate Degree and 1 or more years of experience in the Underwriting or Market Facing area

OR

  • Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice including an Associate Degree and 4 or more years of experience in the Claims or Underwriting Support area

AND

  • Knowledge of line/s of business and the legal and regulatory guidelines
  • Knowledge of time restraints for quotes on new and renewal business
  • Experience with Microsoft Office

Preferred:

  • Bachelors’ Degree with 6 or more years’ experience in the commercial P&C underwriting area
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Microsoft Office skills
  • French language skills are required (for candidates applying to the Montreal office location)
  • Verbal and written proficiency in the English language is required in order to facilitate communication with internal and external key stakeholders located outside of Quebec. (for candidates applying to the Montreal office location)

Compensation for roles at Zurich varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. The salary range provided is a nationwide market range and has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location where the position may be filled. As required by local law, Zurich provides in good faith a reasonable range of compensation for roles. Compensation may exceed the range listed based on the evaluation of skillset and experience. The starting salary range for this position is $58,700 to $117,400.

About the Inkompass Field Sales
Rothmans, Benson & Hedges Inc. (“RBH”), a subsidiary of Philip Morris International, is looking for dedicated self-starters to be part of our Early Careers Program, a structured program anchored on RBH’s Talent Development Model designed to develop talent and accelerate their career progression

We offer dynamic and accelerated development and learning discoveries for 4 months, with the possibility of extension. Our learning ecosystem under this program includes functional rotations, skill development, behavioral training, coaching and mentoring, and team collaboration on projects. You get to enrich your knowledge and experience in the sales field by understanding and learning from others while performing key business roles.

Each co-op student will get an immersive, exciting, and inspiring experience for personal growth, balance, and engagement.

Commercial
Develop functional knowledge and understanding of commercial programs from strategy to execution, including offline and digital communications and engagement. Get exposure and experience through partnerships with HQ-based sales and marketing functions.

Field Sales
Develop adult consumer and trade understanding through direct engagement and exposure to adult consumers and retailers. Gain experience working with our field sales team and learn about sales office operations and processes.

Introducing and supporting RBH products and services in all assigned accounts within the defined territory. You will provide product education and support on all combustible and non-combustible brand families, support retailers, and participate in engagement programs. You will collaborate closely directly with retail owners/managers and front-line staff to build engagement and support for RBH products to grow RBH’s market share within your territory.

Responsible to handle and implement all assigned coverage, “Call to Action” activities, compliance with commercial agreements, and an assigned territory budget with set parameters.

Work on the expansion of RBH’s smoke-free product portfolio through direct communication with owners/managers and front-line staff to create awareness of our smoke-free vision.

Leverage your relationships within your assigned stores to build a successful network which will result in increased product awareness among legal-age nicotine users who have expressed an interest in learning more about Rothmans Benson & Hedges.

Who we’re looking for?

Students in their first to last year of studies, in relevant fields, including, but not limited to, business, marketing, and management.

Talent with a strong interest in sales and branding, communication, and marketing, the drive and curiosity to learn, and the ability to work well with others.

We’re looking for people who love working with adult consumers and achieving and going above and beyond when it comes to established goals.

The position is Hybrid, we’re looking for some candidates who are ok with working remotely but also attending industry events, being on the field, and maintaining relationships with real clients.

You must have access to a car, at least one (1) year of driving experience, and a valid driver’s license because you will be required to travel for this position like a regular field sales employee.

You need to be eligible to work in Canada, including international students and refugees.

Job Description

We are looking for energetic and enthusiastic Housekeeping Associates to join the Equinox team. This is a great position for a candidate looking to make a significant impact in a growing and dynamic organization based in a state-of-the-art, luxury facility in Vancouver, Canada. The hourly rate for this role is $16.50 per hour.

Job responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Ensure that the club and exercise equipment are clean and well maintained while providing all members, prospective members, and guests with excellent customer service
  • Ensure that the sidewalk entrance and lobby are presentable
  • Clean the locker room and stock all locker room consumables
  • Clean and organize storage, laundry, exercise, and coat rooms
  • Maintain an adequate supply of towels on the exercise floor
  • Provide maintenance for all equipment
  • Receive and store all deliveries
  • Assist with special events
  • Notify the Housekeeping Manager when any rooms or equipment need immediate attention

Qualifications

The successful candidate must have the following experience, skills, and education:

  • Must possess a clear understanding of what constitutes a clean and sanitary environment
  • Prior experience in cleaning and laundry services is highly preferred
  • Ability to service athletic equipment along with previous experience working with cleaning products and hand tools
  • Strong customer service, organizational, communication, and multi-tasking abilities
