Q: What does 10mm thermal lens mean? What’s the difference between a 10mm one and a 3.2mm one?

A: Thermal lens is similar with optical lens in SLR photography, 10mm thermal imaging lens is equivalent to about 85-100mm SLR lens, 3.2 mm thermal imaging lens is equivalent to about 20-35mm SLR lens. The larger the number is, the more zoomed it will be.

Q: Why does AGM G2 Guardian have a 500 thermal detection range?

A: AGM G2 Guardian is equipped with a 10mm thermal lens and a thermal monocular sensor, which allows users to detect heat signal from further distance with a 5 times built-in zoomed in. For human size object, it can be up to 500 meters, and for larger object, it can be up to around 1000 meters – 1200 meters.

Q: What’s the difference between AGM G2 Guardian and AGM G2 Pro?
