Superviser, former et mentorer les membres d’équipe;

Gérer les contrôles fiscaux du groupe;

Supporter les unités d’affaires et les assister à l’optimisation des aspects fiscaux de leurs transactions dans les limites permises par la Loi;

Assister le responsable de la fiscalité et pour certains projets être le responsable, travailler en étroite collaboration avec l’équipe de fiscalité mondiale d’Airbus, la finance et d’autres partenaires commerciaux et mener divers projets (Réorganisations, planifications et optimisations fiscales, mise en place d’un nouvel ERP, améliorations des processus et contrôles internes et aviser des conséquences fiscales de divers projets commerciaux);

Collaborer avec le responsable de la fiscalité, et pour certains projets être le responsable, et travailler avec les unités d’affaires pour améliorer et automatiser les processus existants, diriger la transformation des processus fiscaux pour créer des gains d’efficacité permettant une conformité accrue et une meilleure gestion des risques fiscaux;

Réviser tous les rapprochements des comptes fiscaux des sociétés;

Travailler en étroite collaboration avec le responsable de la fiscalité et mener divers projets spéciaux, la R&D, les taxes indirectes/VAT, les prix de transfert et les questions fiscales internationales, le cas échéant.

Préparer des analyses appuyant tous les aspects financiers des accords intersociétés et des ajustements des prix de transfert;

Soutenir l’équipe dans la réalisation de diverses recherches, rédiger des notes fiscales et dispenser des formations fiscales à différents départements internes.

Se tenir à jour des modifications de lois, décisions, règlements, jugements, et projets de loi relatif à la fiscalité corporative et aux taxes à la consommation, analyser leurs répercussions, et élaborer le plan permettant d’atteindre les objectifs de conformité.

En tant que candidat idéal,

Vous avez un minimum de 10 ans d’expérience dans la conformité et comptabilité fiscale;

Vous détenez un titre professionnel comptable (CPA, CGA, CA) et/ou une maîtrise en fiscalité/programme fondamental d’impôt de CPA Canada;

La capacité à travailler de manière autonome, à faire preuve d’ingéniosité et à être fiable;

Vous avez des compétences efficaces en communication, en relations interpersonnelles et en présentation, et vous êtes concis, persuasif, diplomate, un auditeur efficace, bien organisé;

The candidate will progressively develop the following duties:

Review and/or prepare Canadian Corporate income tax returns of Airbus Canada entities;

Review and/or prepare all information returns and tax slips, including non-residents withholding taxes;

Prepare and/or review annual tax provisions for all Canadian entities and collaborate with Airbus France Headquarters and external auditors for year-end requests;

Supervise, train and mentor team members;

Manage tax audits of the group;

Support other business units and assist them in optimizing the tax aspects of their transactions as permitted by Law;

Assist the Head of Tax, and for certain projects lead, work closely with the Airbus global tax team, Finance and other business partners to collaborate or lead various projects (Restructurings, reorganizations, planning and tax optimizations, new ERP implementation, Internal process and control enhancements and the review of tax impacts of various business projects/transactions);

In collaboration with the Head of tax, and for certain projects lead, work with the business units to improve and automate existing processes, lead the transformation of tax processes to create efficiencies allowing enhanced compliance and improved tax risk management;

Review all corporate tax account reconciliations;

Work closely with the Head of Tax on and/or lead special projects, R&D, indirect tax/VAT, transfer pricing and international tax matters, as required;

Prepare analyses supporting all financial aspects of intercompany agreements and transfer pricing adjustments;

Support the team in performing various research, drafting tax memos and provide internal tax training to colleagues in various departments.

Keep up to date with changes in laws, decisions, regulations, judgments, and draft law relating to income and consumption taxes, analyze their repercussions, and develop the plan to achieve compliance objectives.

As the ideal candidate,

You have a minimum of 10 years’ experience in tax compliance and reporting;

You hold a professional accounting designation and/or a master’s in taxation/ CPA Canada In-Depth Tax Program;

Autonomous, resourceful and reliable;

You have effective communication, interpersonal and presentation skills, and are concise, persuasive, diplomatic, an effective listener and well organized;

You are fluent in French and English, oral and written;

You are recognized as a team player;

You have strong knowledge of TAXPREP and knowledge of SAP. Knowledge of other accounting software, Google Suite and tax provision software is an asset.

Course Description:

This course is designed to give the student an understanding of the more complex issues of federal income taxation, by applying current tax law to practical problems and cases. Topics include: computation of corporate taxes, corporate distributions, corporate re-organizations, partnerships, trusts, and individual and corporate tax planning.

Qualifications:

Minimum qualifications: CPA, CA designation; previous experience in teaching a similar course at undergraduate (university) level or similar environment; several years related professional experience.

Duties:

All normal duties related to the design and teaching of a university credit course, including preparation and delivery of course content; development, administration, and marking of assignments, tests, and exams; calculation and submission of grades, holding regular office hours, and maintaining reasonable availability for student and administrative contact, supervision of T.A. assigned to course.
