We are looking for an Online Merchandiser to join our team to support the planning & execution of omnichannel trading & merchandising initiatives. This role will be responsible for supporting the Trading Managers in their respective areas through merchandising the Currys & Carphone Warehouse websites.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accountable for merchandising a product area of responsibility e.g. appliances and driving performance for the category through understanding trading performance
• Accountable for ‘right first time’ promotional set up
• Ownership and performance analysis of deals pages
• Understanding pain points in the journey using analytics tools (e.g. Adobe, content square) and recommending/implementing changes
• Establish a philosophy of continuous improvement through all areas, demonstrable through meaningful metrics reported weekly and periodically
• Managing search tool optimisation, navigation, PLP sorting rules, Einstein recommendations and creating and implementing a plan to optimise these using SFCC A/B testing capability
• Use on-site analytics and feedback performance analysis if required
• Responsible for ensuring that product merchandising standards are met across teams and surpassing agreed benchmarks
• Managing ad hoc requests and projects that may arise as part of strategic work e.g. Refurbished PoC, Uber PoC.

Our client begins their path with us online before joining us in person at a school in the UK, Ireland or US during summer. We are looking for teachers who can follow these students on their MLA journey.

MLA (Move Language Ahead) is an industry leader in providing safe, educational, and cultural holidays to students from around the world. Each year thousands of students travel with MLA as part of our short-term English as a foreign language (EFL) programmes. Along with our proprietary EFL curriculum, we also provide our students with great excursions featuring some of the most popular historical and tourist destinations across the globe.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Deliver online English classes using our dedicated platform and Zoom. Use the MLA Task-Based Learning syllabus, designed in-house and unique to MLA, which comes with lesson plans to significantly reduce planning time. Teach students who are grouped by age and level (A1-C1, 11-18 y.o) with a maximum of 12 students per group in classes starting in the afternoon.

Teachers MUST BE AVAILABLE MONDAY TO FRIDAY FROM 15.30 to 20.00 CET. Unfortunately, we don’t have any part time positions available.

Class times are as follows:

15:30- 16:30

16:40- 17:40

17:50- 18:50

19:00- 20:00

Certain classes could be back-up sessions, in which teachers are required to plan lessons and must be contactable and ready to cover online lessons at short notice

Teachers are paid at the same rate for classes, backup sessions and 30min (3 x 10 mins) of break every day from Monday to Friday. Classes begin 19th February and go on until mid-June. There will be paid training from 12th February.

We follow the Italian national holiday calendar and so there will be no lessons during these periods:

28th March 2024 to 3rd April 2024 (inclusive), 25th April 2024, and 1st May 2024. The 10th and 11th June 2024 are currently non-working days with the online courses finishing June 13th 2024.

In summer, you will then join us for up to 6 weeks in person at one of 10 summer centres in the UK, Ireland or USA. Here, you will become a part of creating an unforgettable summer experience for our students as they study in person. We offer competitive rates and all meals and accommodation included. For those who are interested in delving into the world of examinations we will be training a select number of teachers as Cambridge examiners. For those who are interested in senior positions, we will offer training to become senior teachers, Assistant Directors of Studies and Directors of Studies in our summer schools.

The summer courses in the UK begin at the start of July and run until the beginning of August (mid-August in some centres).

REQUIREMENTS

-3 years experience in teaching English as a Foreign Language (EFL)
-3 years experience teaching children
-Teaching certification or 120-hour ESL/EFL qualification (not a requirement if proven experience and upon references)
-Familiarity with online teaching platforms, video conferencing tools, and educational technology
-Proficient in the English language
-Eligible to work in the UK, Ireland or USA (UK: UK Passport, FWP, Settled Status, Work Visa; Ireland: UK or EU passport, USA: US citizen or US Work permit.) MLA cannot assist with, or sponsor work visas or permits.
-2 satisfactory references (3 for USA candidates), one of which should be from your current employer or from a referee relevant to the position

We are seeking an entry-level Data Entry Clerk to join our dynamic and growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for entering data into our system, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of the information. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, organized, and able to work independently. This is a full-time, remote position based in USA.

Responsibilities

Entering data accurately and efficiently into our system.

Verifying the accuracy and completeness of data entered.

Managing and organizing large amounts of data.

Qualifications

Previous Data Entry Or Administrative Experience Preferred.
