Your focus will be around improving the conversion and digital experience of our client’s brands on partner direct selling, retailer websites, and enhance their paid search and display visibility and drive through to conversion.

The role will report into our eCommerce activation director, will manage a team of activation executives, and has EMEA-wide remit.

Specific Responsibilities Include:

eCommerce Media Expertise

  • Lead the eCommerce Media strategy for leading FMCG clients across biddable platforms from Amazon to eGrocery platforms leveraging Criteo, CitrusAd, or other retail media platforms.
  • Help Clients to plan and develop retail media budgets and KPIs and then help to manage the team to build campaigns execute on the agreed objectives.
  • Drive best in class practices and optimization strategies across digital touchpoints, ensuring clients are at the forefront of testing to deliver on performance goals and working with client leads to advise on areas of improvement.
  • Work closely with the client’s local agency teams to develop holistic strategies against ATL media and with wider eCommerce teams to manage stock / pricing / retail health and be able to flex campaigns accordingly. eCommerce Strategy Knowledge
  • Uncover client commercial objectives, and actively participate in long range strategic planning across both media planning and buying in order to meet & exceed those commercial goals.
  • Provide recommendations to improve sales & margin, through effective retail & marketing planning.
  • Demonstrate thought leadership with clients by developing and presenting client industry/market research findings, eCommerce search trends, eCommerce growth areas, new models to consider and Transact case studies.

eCommerce Analysis Skills

  • Be able to analyse multiple data sources confidently and accurately, highlight the most relevant KPIs for each client, draw key insights and write commentary within the context.
  • Identify opportunities based on deep data analysis using Media Platforms (Criteo, CitrusAd, etc.), Amazon tools (Pacvue/Skai), or other external sources (Profitero, Nielsen, GfK, etc.)

Stakeholder Management Skills

  • You will be in a regional role driving growth within local markets – so eagerness to partner across multiple local markets & regional clients should be a superpower.
  • Effectively and confidently communicate with clients and internal teams, delivering eCommerce analysis, insight, and strategy coherently to an audience with a broad eCommerce understanding.
  • Managing a team of 2-3 eCommerce Executives, owning responsibility for your team’s output, acting as the escalation point when required. Coach the team through their annual reviews.
  • Proactive, open, and curious – both internally and at the client to strive develop best in class ecommerce practices across markets

Essential Qualifications:

  • 3+ years’ eCommerce experience, including paid search (PPC / Search Engine Marketing), and/or SEO/organic search, retailer eCommerce activation / performance display at either a digital agency or client-side and at least 1+ years of team management.
  • Ambitious, driven and passionate about all things eCommerce, with an excellent comprehension of how search serves as the backbone of online purchases
  • Ecommerce activation experience through Criteo, Amazon Advertising Platform (AMS, AMG and DSP), CitrusAD and / or other retail players
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Stakeholder management skills
  • Enjoy educating clients about all things eCommerce and how optimising search can drive eCommerce efforts
  • Good negotiating skills paired with ability to dive deep into performance reporting.

Good to have:

  • Additional language skills highly preferred (Spanish/German/Italian)

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Account Manager, Portfolio Management contributes in updating the Bank’s loan portfolio by processing service requests and annual reviews required during the life cycle of a loan. He or she analyzes and recommends complex and advanced service requests and supports the Business Development team in developing efficient solutions to meet the client’s requests while adhering to the Bank’s policies and directives.

CHALLENGES TO BE MET

Follow up on outstanding issues in the files in accordance with BDC’s audit policies, processes and procedures by ensuring that the forms and information are accurate and complete, the conditions are met, and the signatures are obtained

When completing an annual review, validate the profitability of the portfolio by monitoring the client’s borrowing activities and identify additional opportunities (financing or consulting) and be proactive to retain existing clients

Review financial statements, complete the financial analysis and evaluate the risk rating

Actively address situations where potential risks are identified, such as arrears, risk deterioration and declining financial results

Evaluate high and advanced risk requests and offer proactive solutions to restructure agreements, minimize risk and mitigate losses in collaboration with Credit, the business centers and other internal colleagues

Authorize, decline or recommend services, within the established parameters, and ensure a high caliber of analysis and due diligence for all loan amendments and service requests

Maintain relationships with business center personnel and colleagues to foster good teamwork and the pursuit of common objectives and the consistent application of policies

Coach, mentor and share experience with team members

Keep abreast of economic trends in his or her region and any potential impact for the Bank’s clients

Keep abreast of changes made to policies, procedures and detailed processes and of trends in credit and regulatory issues that may have an impact on BDC

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Bachelor’s degree in Commerce or Business Administration

Three to five years’ experience as an account manager in the banking sector

In-depth knowledge of banking products, services, policies, processes and procedures

Ability to analyze complex financial structures

Ability to identify and solve problems pro-actively with good judgment

Demonstrated flexibility to adapt to a changing environment

Good time management skills and ability to set priorities to meet tight deadlines

Your day-to-day:

As a Sales Activator, you will be responsible for building and leading a team of Brand Ambassadors to generate awareness of Iluma among legal-age smokers in a designated Hub City (Etobicoke and Mississauga)

  • Execute the Hub City Strategy to continuously recruit and build Brand Ambassador team to ensure the continued success of our heated tobacco product portfolio.
  • Lead a team of Brand Ambassadors within designated Hub City and provide them with the right tools and coaching to build Iluma awareness and product understanding among legal-age smokers.
  • Track and analyze the performance of Brand Ambassadors and provide performance-based coaching to achieve key performance indicators within the existing regulatory framework.
  • Train and develop sales capabilities of Brand Ambassadors to develop to drive performance to achieve and maintain excellent customer service levels during interactions with legal-age smokers.
  • Identifying high-potential business opportunities to generate product awareness among legal-age smokers and build category understanding through B2B partnerships. The Sales Activator will prepare new business opportunities and make recommendations to the City Hub Commercial Deployment Manager.
  • Provide Iluma product education to legal-age smokers at meetings and events at age-restricted venues, leading data collection and post-event follow-up.

YOU ARE THE RIGHT PERSON FOR THIS JOB IF YOU HAVE:

  • Minimum 3 years of progressive sales experience
  • A self-starter with strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and administrative skills
  • Experience managing teams and relationship building.
  • Experience in CPG or international companies, Brand Ambassador management is an asset.
  • Completed post-secondary education

About this opportunity

As the Talent Acquisition Manager, you are responsible for developing and executing the regional talent acquisition strategy for the business in partnership with the HR and business leaders. The Manager will lead a team of talent acquisition specialists in full life cycle recruitment while ensuring unique strategies are leveraged by role/region, and the team is delivering an exceptional experience for hiring managers and candidates.

This role will be predominately virtual however will require occasional travel to the regional offices across British Columbia, Alberta and Saskatchewan as required to meet with clients and team members.

Take an inside look at what you’ll do each day

  • Leverage the national talent acquisition strategy, develop an annual regional recruitment strategy that includes flawless recruitment execution, employer branding, social media, campus recruiting, etc.; continuously create and implement new and innovative programs and initiatives to support regional/local strategies
  • Lead and manage a team of Talent Acquisition Specialists to ensure all open roles in the respective portfolio are filled in an efficient and effective manner and the team is productive and engaged;
  • Manage and coach recruiters on the recruitment process with a focus on a strategic, advisory approach with hiring managers
  • Be a strategic advisor to the business leaders in respective regions/segments and provide TA coaching and guidance
  • Provide recruitment training for all hiring managers as required
  • Provide regular regional reporting to key stakeholders and hold team members accountable for data accuracy; make data driven decisions to support all programs
  • Lead and support immigration strategies for the region
  • Collect market intelligence on talent supply, competitor trends, etc., modifying strategies as needed
  • Leverage all national recruitment templates, process and policy to ensure a consistent experience for candidates and hiring managers
  • Build and maintain a regional campus strategy and relationships with key schools, colleges and universities to promote CBI as an employer of choice; increase brand awareness with students; collaborate with colleagues in other regions to support candidate mobility across Canada
  • Participate in career fairs, events and DEI strategic initiatives to diversity the workforce; identify and develop various partnerships in the community

What you need to be successful

  • Minimum 10 years of full life cycle talent acquisition experience in a corporate environment required
  • Minimum 2 years of people management experience
  • Strong service delivery orientation, collaboration, influencing and negotiating skills
  • The ability to build strong relationships with various stakeholders across the organization
  • Proven organization, communication and presentation skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills – the ability to network in person and online
  • A superior focus on the details, proactive and tech savvy approach
