Your typical responsibilities may include conducting research, preparing deliverables and reports, preparing and participating in client workshops and presentations, reviewing client documents and files, assessing and implementing tools and methodologies, and supporting strategic firm initiatives.
  • Joining our Tax & Legal team means joining a team of professionals to leverage expertise across tax and legal technology and consulting domains. Making an impact that matters for our clients is important to us, and ensuring our clients are more efficient and effective is what this area is focused on. Your typical responsibilities may include tax structuring, advisory, and planning on local and cross-border issues including financing, indirect taxes, and transfer pricing methodologies. In addition, you will be supporting clients with risk management advice related to their tax strategies and business objectives, as well as delivering top-quality compliance and reporting services (which includes the preparation of various corporation, partnership, trust, and personal returns as well as related forms) and financial accounting for income taxes (including preparation or review of tax provisions).

Job Summary:

Our Digital Technologies (DT) organization ensures that Raytheon teams across the globe are able to communicate, collaborate and innovate for customer results. We create leading-edge technology solutions to prevent security threats and secure the integrity of our systems. As a Raytheon (RAY) Digital Technology (DT) Principal DT Business & Program Manager, (Project Manager) you will collaborate and partner with a diverse cross-section of DT, Engineering, and Program teammates supporting Raytheon programs and drive the implementation of strategic initiatives. Reporting to the Raytheon DT Program Execution – Defense Systems (PE – DS), Business Operations, Operations Excellence Department Manager, serving as strategic liaison for DT projects between key stakeholders. Partner with business and DT stakeholders to develop and manage strategic planning activities within business and enterprise, including identification and prioritization of strategic business initiatives, development of project roadmaps, and cross organizational alignment. Evaluate the overall portfolio of projects to ensure that the company continues to improve its investments in technology and reduce redundancy. We offer relocation!

Responsibilities to Anticipate:

  • Serve as the full lifecycle DT project implementation planning lead for a Raytheon multi-program connected set of programs and information systems.
  • Align Program Execution’s business targets with the Project Management lifecycle.
  • Ensure the creation and execution of the project implementation roadmaps related to the multi-mission areas.
  • Partner closely with DT Section Management, DT Strategic Business Units (SBUs), DT Service Management leads, DT Program Lead(s), and PE functional team members to ensure the successful implementation of business-based initiatives.
  • Lead through influence a matrixed team to deliver solutions on time and within budget.
  • Partner and collaborate with Systems and Solutions Integration team to infuse new technologies and services into the mission areas and enhance the use of standardized solutions.
  • Identify opportunities to gain efficiencies, lessons learned and act upon them, partnering with other teams within DT, Engineering, and other functions to realize positive outcomes.
  • Scrum, Agile and DevOps practices to manage daily priorities and ensure alignment with Program Execution directorate implementation needs.
  • Support change control best practices and lead the process across all strategic business units.
  • Develop and maintain internal partner relationships, and advocate for their needs.
  • Support programs and pursuits via occasional Domestic travel up to 10%

Basic Qualifications:

  • Typically requires a bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5 years or a MS degree in and a minimum of 3 years is required.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
  • 5+ years of experience with program/project management experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with technical project delivery in one of the following domains Windows, Linux, Storage, Virtualization / Cloud technologies, and networking systems etc.….
  • This role requires excellent communication skills, a strategic mindset, extensive industry, and project management experience, as is the ability to develop and leverage a broad network of teammates within and outside of the Raytheon Community (including Raytheon Enterprise.

Excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to clearly articulate ideas, process steps, and technical data in written, graphical, and spoken dialogue * Experience with Visio, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Project

  • Demonstrated ability to develop and communicate a project status to senior management and executive audiences.
  • Working knowledge of best practices in IT security
  • ITIL v4 Managing Professional or v3 Expert or Master, or ITIL v2 Service Manager certification.
  • PMP / PRINCE II certification
  • Demonstrated results working within a large multi-disciplined team track record of adherence to cost and schedule.
  • SharePoint administration/design.
  • Ability to team effectively
  • Experience working with remote teams both domestically and internationally.
  • High level of understanding of ITAR requirements
  • Curiosity, problem solving, desire to learn new skills.

As Director of Philanthropy, you will take a lead role in developing and supporting strategic relationships to ensure the long-term financial sustainability and growth of our movement. This will include responsibility for increasing support from international grassroots supporters, foundations, corporations, major donors and other strategic or philanthropic partners.

You will:

· Develop a comprehensive database of Canadian corporations/businesses, foundations and high net worth individuals aligned with Mary’s Meals mission who present potential partnership opportunities.

· Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy that aligns with the organization’s mission and goals. This will involve identifying potential donors, creating fundraising campaigns, and developing donor recognition programs.

· Cultivate new donor relationships to expand the Mary’s Meals Canada’s donor base and increase revenue.

· Engage donors through cultivating strong relationships with donors, including major gift / high-net-worth donors, foundations, and corporations. This will include creating customized engagement plans to maintain their support such as offering recognition to corporate donors by including their logos on our website, social media channels, and event materials.

· Track fundraising progress and adjust strategies as needed to ensure that the organization meets its fundraising goals.

· Collaborate with other departments as the Board of Directors to ensure that fundraising efforts are integrated with overall organizational goals and messaging. In addition, it will be vital to build relationships with colleagues across the Mary’s Meals community who hold similar portfolio’s to brainstorm larger (global) philanthropic partnership opportunities.

An experienced senior leader, you will have demonstrable experience in developing and executing strategies to drive revenue generation across a range of income streams, with success in securing significant multi-year funding. You will foster a collaborative approach, and be committed to our vision, mission and values.

You will also need:

· Knowledge of the regulatory framework in relation to fundraising and the not-for-profit sector

· Experience working at a senior leadership level including experience working in a similar role and leading a fundraising team.

· Strong communication skills, with the ability to get buy-in and commitment to the vision and mission within the organization and across the global movement involving diverse groups.

· Experience of developing and implementing strategies, policies and procedures and translating these into action.

· Experience speaking in front of large audiences, both virtually and in person, to be an ambassador for Mary’s Meals.

This is a fixed-term one-year opportunity, and the role will be home-based from Alberta, Ontario or British Columbia.
