JOB TITLE: Joining Engineer

SALARY: 35,500 – 44,500

WHAT TO EXPECT

Working within the Current Manufacturing Team, reporting into the Lead Joining Engineer, you’ll be supporting and improving a variety of different joining processes used in Body In White (BIW) assembly. You’ll be carrying out problem solving activities surrounding joining processes, making programming changes to improve joint quality and verifying changes made to processes to ensure products are built to engineering intent. You will also assist with managing resource to ensure that control plans are adhered to and procedural requirements are met.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

Your key accountabilities and responsibilities include:

• Supervise a team to ensure quality assessment and validation procedures are delivered
• Support in the testing and confirmation of any changes to process inputs
• Driving and improvement current quality output of joining through testing, innovation and shared learning with the design teams
• Monitor and track resolution to all problems and issue to ensure improvements are achieved

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

Knowledge and Experience

• Previous experience in Joining Systems in Engineering

• Leadership experience

• Background or experience in the Engineering and Concept Development

• Degree or relevant equivalent experience preferred
