Job responsibilities

• Work with J.P. Morgan product and sector teams
• Build and use complex financial models, completing valuation and analytical exercises

• Transaction execution: support in public and private M&A transactions across all workstreams including due diligence, document preparation, negotiation etc and liaising with relevant counterpart at the client/other advisers (accounting, legal, etc)

• Monitor shareholder activism in the UK and assist with clients development strategies

ABOUT THE TEAM

The Canada Growth Fund Investment Management (CGFIM) Team is a new team created within PSP to manage the $15bn Canada Growth Fund. CGF’s mandate is to catalyze substantial private sector investment in Canadian low-carbon projects, technologies, businesses, and supply chains by deploying innovative funding structures that help mitigate certain risks and uncertainties inherent to investing in the low-carbon economy. ABOUT YOUR ROLE

As a Director, Investments – Canada Growth Fund Investment Management, you will:

The Role

• Onboarding

• Collaborate and work with the client, internal legal and the client’s legal counsel to negotiate and execute our services agreement and other onboarding documents.
• Use strong client servicing skills to lead a discovery meeting with the client to better understand the client’s current investment structure, plans and other requirements, and document and share such with the wider WTW team.

The Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of successful experience in a related function within investments and client services, with one year as a supporting Team lead
• Demonstrated knowledge of trading operations. Including an understanding of trade cycles

• Demonstrated understanding of the Canadian financial regulatory environment
