The primary role of the Interior Designer is to interpret and translate the needs and desires of a client as well as any architectural direction set forth into cohesive interior design solutions. This process involves production of drawings (2D/3D), and written material to support the conceptual direction of interior design and FFE. An Interior Designer is expected to work collaboratively with the architectural team, conceptualizing, developing, and documenting varying aspects of interior design of a project, including but not limited to space planning, interior architecture, interior materials and palette, specifications and FFE. This individual will be required to present their ideas in formal and informal settings.

Your Key Responsibilities

Inspires creativity, critical thought, and design excellence both internally and externally.

Conceptualizes and develops interior design from both a functional and aesthetic perspective in concert with a client’s requirements, budget, and program.

Participates in the development of the program, vision, and other pre-design efforts.

Develops the interior design through sketches, electronic models, diagrams, and other visual formats to express the design intent and coordinate with Interior Design Lead.

Utilizes BIM technologies in the development of three-dimensional models of interiors and their components.

Leads others in a project team setting and design critiques and pin-ups.

Job description:

• The successful person will have a strong eye for detail and be able to come up with creative ideas
• Good knowledge of hospitality, sport venues or relatable design and experience in the field is highly preferred
• You will be an excellent communicator and be able to work well individually and with a team
• You will be able to meet project deadlines
• This role would be for someone legally eligible to work in the UK

Skills necessary:

• Experience in must have AutoCAD and Adobe CS are essential for this role
• Knowledge in Revit and SketchUp are advantageous
• At mid weight level you will need a minimum of 3 years’ relative experience
• You will need good communication skill and be able to work well in a team
• Able to work individually and as part of a collaborative team.
• You will need to be fluent in English

Role: Senior Interior Architect Studio size: 40 – 50 members Software: AutoCAD Location: West London, Chelsea/South Kensington

Summary An outstanding opportunity to join one of London’s top high-end interior design studios work on projects across the residential and hospitality projects. This established West London based company is looking for a Senior Interior Architect to join their already talented team. Working on projects in London and internationally designing to a style that is both refined and eclectic.

Job description:

• Producing and overseeing interior fit out drawings
• As senior you will be responsible for managing a team, mentoring and guiding junior staff
• Delegate tasks and ensure drawings are to standard
• Working on bespoke joinery, elevations, plans, sections and RCPs
• Visiting sites and assisting in construction supervision
• Site surveys
• Working as a team as well as confidently as an individually
• Coming up with design solutions

What you will bring:

• 5+ year post qualification experience in interior design or architecture
• Exceptional interior architecture understanding and skills, from proven experience of high-end residential or hospitality projects
• A good understanding of the entire design and contrition process from concept through to implementation
